This studio work aims to capture the blend of tradition and modernity of Japanese culture. Experimental kimono styling in the manner of Harajuku street fashion combined with an ikebana hairpiece creates a unique and memorable look put into a traditional Japanese setting. It’s a reminder that classical and popular culture do not only coexist but can also be intertwined to create something unique.
